Sometimes, Bigger Is Not Better. Don\'t think "Chain Hotels" when the term "Boutique Hotels" comes up. "Boutique" hotels come in all sizes, some have as few as ten rooms and some are quite a bit larger. We have limited our selections to hotels with 40 rooms or less. Frequently independently owned, often run by families, and sometimes housed in former nunneries, abbeys or even townhouses of famous people; these hotels offer more charm and character than most of the top rated Michelin hotels. Although starting to become popular also oustside of France, they\'re a rapidly increasing phenomenon in France. Rather than tearing down a block, in order to construct a monolithic monstrosity with halls that go on forever, the French hoteliers would rather lovingly restore their architectural treasures.

4. What makes our offer so different?

We are based in Paris, in the midst of our market and specialize in
France only. Many hotels we present are not offered on major travel
websites such as Travelocity or Expedia because they are too small,
or wish to remain independent

5.Making a reservation/Booking a hotel.

Booking a hotel is a simple 3 steps process:

• Most of our hotels present real-time availability, choose your hotel,
• Fill in the reservation form,
• Fill in the payment form. We charge you a 18% deposit + € 3,00 booking fee.

6. Amending a reservation

• Add a room, just make a new reservation.
• To lengthen your stay, please make a new reservation for the extra night(s).
• To shorten your stay, please reply to your reservation confirmation email and copy your hotel with your new dates on this email.
  
  Your reservation is a biding contract; your hotel holds a room for the total length of your stay, so you can not normally shorten your stay. If you do so, the 18% deposit charged on your credit card upon reservation confirmation will not be refunded. The amount of deposit considered by hotel for final billing will be pro rated to the length of your stay.
  
  Deposit for the cancelled part of your stay will not be refunded and can not be applied to final bill.
  Outstanding amount to be paid at the hotel for shortened stay : P(N-C)*0,82 where :
  Price per night, N : initial number of nights, C : Number of cancelled nights.

7. Cancellation and No-show

Cancellation and no show policies vary from one partner to the other.
Please check the "Terms & Conditions" link associated to your hotel or tour to learn more about them.
Cancellation fee:

• Up to 72 hours before arrival *: 18% deposit.
• Late cancellation: 18% deposit + 1 night.
• No show: 18% deposit + 2 nights.

8. Tours and excursions

All tours are combined with pick up at your hotel.

To pick you up for your tour, we need to know your hotel address (required in the tour reservation form).
Therefore, we strongly recommend you book your hotel first and then your tour.

9.How are your price determined. Can I negotiate the price?

Hotels prices, promotions and availability are managed by hotels directly on our extranet.

By contract, hotels are obligated to give our clients a fair price, i.e. the best price they offer for their hotel
on any other website. If you happen to find a lower price on another website, please inform us
Our system offers real time availability, for most hotels, booking are confirmed immedialty.

Even if low and high season still governs hotels pricing policy.

Yield management is now largely used and results often in a unique price per client.
If you are price sensitive and if you want to grab the best prices, you can:

• Take advantage of our Cocoon Hotels and get a free upgrade
• Make a last minute reservation (many hotels offer realdiscounts on unsold rooms starting from 5 days before your arrival
• Use our price comparator to list best prices available for your rooms and dates.

11.Can you accommodate groups?

Yes.
For larger groups – 10 rooms or more -, please submit your reservation on request form for groups.

We will reply to your request within 2 working days. We will negotiate for you directly with several hotels to offer you the best quality/price ratio. We can also organise excursions or meals in selected restaurant for your groups.

12.Do you offer affiliation or partnership program?

We are open for any type of collaboration related to our core business :
hotels, restaurants, chateaux, seminars.
